卜琴父原是昆明軍區文藝工作團的著名演員，以才貌相全見稱。文革時，因支持劉少奇而被批鬥，受盡百般凌辱，最後慘被槍斃。本片用了十年時間追訪卜琴父身邊的同事和好友，希望還她一個清白。
Bu Qinfu was once a well-known actress from the Art and Culture Working Group of the Kunming Military Region. During the Cultural Revolution she was charged with criticizing the government. She was publicly humiliated and tortured, and finally shot dead. Official statements said she had died from illness. Case closed. In this film, Bu’s friends and colleagues were interviewed over a course of ten years; hopefully this clears her name.
